Cadzow Academy Staff
Gerry Kernan Director of Drama: Gerry is a Principal Teacher of Drama with over 20 years experience of directing and working with young people and adults. Theatre companies include; Studio32 East Kilbride, LAMS(Lanark), Strathclyde Theatre for Youth & Guys & Gals. Gerry trained at RSAMD and has a B.A. (Dramatic Studies) and PGCE(Sec).
Iain M. Sinclair Director of Music: Iain is a qualified Singing Teacher and has over 17 years experience of musical direction, working with both adult and youth theatre companies. Theatre companies include Studio32 East Kilbride, Falkirk Operatic Society and Glasgow Schools Youth Theatre. Iain trained in theatre arts at Fife College of Technology, has a B.A.(Queens College) and Grade 8 in singing (with distinction).
Katie Park Choreographer: Katie joined Cadzow as a student in 2003. She has many years’ experience of dance, training with the Weir School of Dance in Strathaven. Katie has now joined the staff as our choreographer. Katie has appeared in a number of productions with both Cadzow and Studio32 East Kilbride taking on many leading roles. Katie is in her third year of study for a BA in Musical Theatre.
Daniel Dyer Stage Manager: Daniel joined Cadzow as a student in 2005. He has played leading roles in a number of our productions including Rooster in Annie and Abanazar in Aladdin. He has stage-managed shows for Cadzow and worked with Studio32 East Kilbride as S.M. and backstage in productions in The Village Theatre and The Arts Centre.
Daniel Cropp
Daniel leads our Acting and Performance workshops. These workshops take place on weekday evenings in the Scout Hall, Strathaven. Daniel has recently graduated with a BA Acting & Performance. For more information on the classes Daniel runs please contact us.
